Despite the pandemic, the Omicron variant, and social restrictions, Spider-Man: No Way Home, Tom Holland's third installment as Spider-Man in the MCU, has just become the highest-grossing film in Mexican history.
Said information has been confirmed by Sony Pictures Mexico through its social networks. According to information from SensaCine, Spider-Man: Sin Camino A Casa, as it is known in Mexico, has raised 1,474.8 million pesos, slightly surpassing what was done by Avengers: Endgame (in its entire commercial run in our country) which raised 1,474.2 million of pesos.

It should be noted that Spider-Man: No Way Home celebrates a month on the billboard this January 14, as it officially premiered on December 14, 2022. While Avengers: Endgame was in theaters for just over 4 months; including its revival with unfinished scenes, a tribute to Stan Lee, and a scene from Spider-Man: Far From Home.
Therefore, it is very likely that No Way Home adds more revenue to its box office and, surely, Sony Pictures Mexico could think of a re-release in the future, as it did with Venom 2. Sony Pictures also revealed that more than 20 million people have seen Spider-Man: No Way Home.
Let's remember that Spider-Man: No Way Home also broke the record of Avengers: Endgame as the movie with the highest presale in Cinépolis. While worldwide, the third among Spidey is already the eighth highest-grossing film in history.
