With a few months to go before its release, the movie Doctor Strange 2, which will officially take the title of Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness, has now returned to the media. And, once again, the latest issue involves rumors about names in its cast.
According to information from The Illuminerdi, the details that have been officially revealed about this new Marvel Studios project so far are just the tip of its iceberg.
With this, among rumors indicating the presence of Professor Xavier in the plot, being again played by Patrick Stewart, now a more recent one promises to create great expectations if confirmed.
The publication highlights that sources recently highlighted that actor John Krasinski may have filmed scenes for the film playing Mr. Fantastic. It is also quoted that this could become a huge situation, as the actor is a long-time fan desire for the role in the MCU.
It is also mentioned that, if this possibility is confirmed, Krasinski may be playing a variant of Mr. Fantastic from another universe. The character, as you know, is one of the members of the Illuminati group in Marvel Comics.
It is worth mentioning that this situation can open up possibilities for the actor to also play the version of the hero in the MCU, or not. After all, as has already been shown in Loki, and will also be addressed in Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness, some variants have identical physiognomies to the MCU characters and others that are completely different.
